Målfrid J. Frahm-Jensen got awarded as the Peer Support Worker of the year (Erfaringskonsulentprisen 2026)
We would like to congratulate our colleague Målfrid on receiving the award!
In the photo above: Målfrid together with Principal Karl Johan at the launch of the book Erfaringskonsulent – med mål om endring (Peer Support Worker – Aiming for Change).
For many years, Målfrid has been a strong voice for peer support workers, playing a central role in the field in Norway from the start. In recent years, she has also been deeply involved with KBT Vocational College and the higher vocational education program for peer support workers —serving as an instructor, contributing to the textbook Erfaringskonsulent – Med mål om endring (Peer Support Worker – Aiming for Change), and acting as chair of the professional advisory council of KBT Vocational College.
On behalf of KBT, I would say it’s great that she has received the award, headmaster at KBT Vocational College, Karl Johan Johansen, says. It is well deserved. She has done a great job, and she is employed by us. It is an asset for KBT to have an employee who has received that award. It's a strength for us to have co-workers with practical skills from being a Peer Support Worker on the team. Målfrid contributes with the practice perspective and the professional grounding. I'm happy for her.
Head of Studies at the education for peer support workers, Preben C. Hegland, says:
It is great to see that the work done in the field is appreciated. Based on our collaboration, I believe this is a well-deserved award. So, congratulations on receiving the Award, Målfrid!
